Online Registration Setup

Tournament Doctor lets bowlers register for your tournament online — no login required. You share a link, they fill out a form, and entries flow into your tournament automatically or after your approval.

Enabling Online Registration

When creating or editing a tournament, scroll to the Online Registration section and toggle it on. This generates a unique public signup link for your tournament.

Choosing an Entry Mode

  • Auto-Accept: Online entries are immediately added to your tournament. Best for open events where you want zero friction.
  • Pending Approval: Each entry lands in a review queue. You approve or reject from the Manage Online Entries page. Best when you want to verify bowler info first.

Configuring Required Fields

You can require any combination of:

  • Bowler name (always required)
  • Average
  • USBC number
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Setting a Deadline

Set a registration deadline date and time. After the deadline, the signup form displays a "Registration Closed" message and no longer accepts entries.

Custom Signup Message

Add a custom message that appears at the top of the signup form — tournament rules, dress code, parking info, or anything bowlers need to know before registering.

Sharing Your Link

Copy the public signup link from the dashboard (click Copy Signup Link in the Actions dropdown). Share it via email, social media, or your website. The link works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone.

Pro Tip

If you also list on iBowlTournaments.com, the online registration link is included automatically. Bowlers who find your event on iBT can register directly from the listing.
